Mitchell County according to the Mitchell County Tourism has 31 Cemeteries. Each of them have their own unique and beautiful views of the country and loads of local history.
https://www.discovermitchellcounty.com/tours-itineraries/ has a map of roads and locations.
As doing my part to grow the caches in the area, I hope to put a cache in each one to help people explore Mitchell County.
Coursen Grove Cemetery is a small cemetery with limited stones but some date back to early 1800's. As with all cemetery caches, please be respectful and responsible when grabbing them. NO night caching, NO caching during a funeral, there is NO need to touch or search on or around any headstone. If you see trash do your part and do some CITO. There is a large tree that has been blown down covering some of the stones. THE CACHE IS NOT NEAR THE TREE.
Feel free to take a walk around looking at some of the dates and beautiful headstones.
For this cache you are looking for a Bison tube attached on a post at perimeter of the cemetery.
