Geocache Description:

Coordinates given are NOT York Airport. They are for CALCULATION purposes only. Part 2 has been RELOCATED and is NE of York Airport. Cache is located on public accessable land. Not to worry!

1. Cache is in a 1 gallon container and is AVIATION THEMED. Starting items were: 2 wooden airplane kits, airplane stickers, etc. Also contains an official geocache log book.

2. The coordinates listed are for CALCULATION purposes only. This step involves visiting the York Airport web page and retrieving the runway numbers. The site is: (visit link)

Part 2 (Locating the actual cache):
Subtract Runway # closest to North (xx) from the following coordinate: N39-58.750 - xx = 39-58.7xx.

Subtract Runnway # closest to South (xx) from the following Coordinate: 76-48.244 - xx = 76-48.2xx.

INFO/EXAMPLE: 36 (really 360 degrees) is due North. 18 (really 180 degrees) is due South. Runway numbers are stated and painted on the runway with the last digit dropped off to simplify radio transmissions per the FAA.
