Prospect Council's Stobie Pole Project began in 1983 with 20 painted Stobie Poles. By 2025 more than 600 Stobie Poles had been decorated. Finding this cache will give you the opportunity to see painted Stobie Poles at three locations in Prospect.

There are a number of Stobie Poles painted in different styles with different themes nearby to Stobie Pole One. Some poles, including Stobie Pole One even have a different style of painting on each face.
