There are 197 countries in the world; 193 countries are fully recognized members of the United Nations. Two countries, Vatican City and Palestine, have the status of permanent observers in the UN. The other 2 states are Kosovo (recognized by 101 UN members) and Taiwan (recognized by 12 UN members and 1 UN observer).
This series of 26 caches will go through those countries alphabetically. The "R" countries are Romania, Russia, and Rwanda.
