Tribute to William Schafer (Billy) Traditional Cache

this cache is placed in tribute to my friend Billy. Early 2021 you'd catch us from cache to cache between the north and south side of ankeny pretty frequently but under some unfortunate circumstances my friend was taken from this world too early. April 8th 2023 i received a phone call from some family friends was broken the sad news. his life was taken in a drinking and driving accident. he made the choice to get behind the wheel intoxicated and from what we can assume passed out behind the wheel and stuck a house on North ash and NW 32nd street. that house went up in flames but the family inside made it to safety. i'm posting this cache in memory of 2 years without my dear friend. i also published this cache in awareness of drinking and driving. please make good choices and know when you've had too much to drive
