Birding Lady (Roni Yaxley) was a wonderful cacher who died suddenly in 2021. Birding Lady had a wonderful laugh, a bold sense of adventure and a huge love of geocaching. When Birding Lady passed away, she had 7125 caches so this is the perfect date to celebrate in her honor.
Even if you never met Birding Lady, come to the event. Bring stories to share and puzzles to work on - Roni loved going to puzzle classes and working on puzzles as a group.
The venue is a picnic shelter so the event will happen rain or shine. I will bring paper goods (plates, cups, napkins, plasticware), but I will not be starting a fire / manning a grill. Feel free to bring food to share.
There are several caches in the park as well.
