Centre Street Church is an evangelical Christian megachurch located in Calgary, Alberta, affiliated with the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada (EMCC). It was founded in 1958 by 62 members of the Salem Evangelical Church, including Rev. F.W. Snyder. Initially, the congregation met in the Highland Park Community Hall before building their first facility at Centre Street and 41 Avenue NE.Significant growth began under the leadership of Dr. Henry Schorr, who joined as Youth Pastor in 1980 and became Senior Pastor in 1986.
