This SANG Bird is a bit out of reach, but is very friendly. It's friends with Kingfishers, which you may see too if you're lucky!

❗This one will require some tree fishing equipment as you are unlikely to find a long enough branch nearby. It cannot be reached without aid (2 metre long aid likely enough for an adult to reach).
❗The area of this cache can get flooded during the wetter months. The park is usually closed when the river floods, but be careful if the ground is wet and slippery after recent closures.
This SANG Bird will be found in a tree, so it won’t be affected by floods…
Please keep your feet on the ground and replace the cache where you retrieved it from so that others can have the same experience.
🌟 This cache also holds a clue for the mysterious bonus cache somewhere in the park.
🥳 Congrats to Dabtec for the FTF! 🎉

🌟 Placed with the kind permission of Canford Park 🌟
Canford Park SANG (Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace) is a public park located near Canford Magna in Poole, Dorset. It was established in phases beginning in June 2019, after the closure of Canford Magna Golf Club in 2016. You may still find golf balls out in the fields - my son has found 4 to date…
The park was designed to provide an alternative recreational area to alleviate pressure on sensitive heathland habitats. There is a network of circular walking paths and amenities such as fenced dog training areas, a ranger hut with refreshments (part of the year), and a children’s play area.
I regularly come here to walk my dog, a brown merle spaniel mix, so we might see you one day 😉
