Geocachers unite during CITO season to clean up some of our most commonly visited areas!
this time around, we will be tidying up Olympic Park. There is plenty of parking available; if the lot at the posted coordinates is full, additional parking can be found at the next lot to the north. Let's work together to catch the trash before it blows away! If you've never attended a CITO, they are a great way to get out and meet other geocachers, teaming up to clean things up.
This event will happen if it's warm or cold, raining or snowing, so dress prepared for the weather!
terrain at this location is rolling hills, ball fields, and gravel parking lot, and some areas unmaintained areas of rougher fields and scrubby bush. If it rains, there will be mud (and you know my history, if I'm hosting a CITO, odds on the weather being terrible are pretty high!)
Garbage bags and gloves will be provided. Please bring your own grabbing tools.
