#11 - We form a committee

It was during the Yorkshire Mega in 2018 that the idea of holding a Mega event in the West Midlands was first suggested. Some feelers went out on social media, and preliminary discussions were held at events. As a result of which a committee was formed, of which we were both members. Harry the furry squid was in charge of web design and IT issues, and Optimist on the run was treasurer. This meant we got to see quite a lot of each other, either in person or on Zoom calls during the Covid period.
