GeoMat8 Day - Cairns

GeoMay8 day - a day coined by one of our Geocaching mates Calypso62. For the last four years, on the 8th May, he's held an event to celebrate one of the best things he likes about geocaching, the Geo-Mates one meets through this great activity. It’s a time when we can catch up with old Geo-Mates and make lots of new ones, and celebrate that friendship. We, along with 15 others will be hosting a GeoMay8 event.

One of the very best things about this activity we all love called Geocaching, is the great geo-mates you make along the way. We've met so many wonderful people that we now regard as close mates. So, to celebrate this 2025 GeoMay8 Day, We invite all geocachers to come along and regale us with stories of your geocaching adventures, swap hints on how to solve some puzzle caches, discover and retrieve trackables and have a chat. A logbook will be available for you to sign.
