I geocached in the New Munster Wildlife Area recently and noticed a large area along the entrance on 341st Avenue in desperate need of a CITO. I knew this would be the perfect spot to host my very first CITO event on Saturday, May 10th, from 10:00 a.m. until noon. I will provide water, snacks, and garbage bags. Bring your own gloves and trash grabbers. There is also the New Munster Park nextdoor that we can clean up if time allows. Wear proper footwear and if you have extra grabbers, please bring them along. Event is rain or shine. Hope to see you there! Be mindful of no parking signs along 64th Street.
Permission to host this event was granted by the Wisconsin DNR. They will collect all of the garbage after we are finished.
