This cache is located near the mouth of Wilson Creek, the former name of Rosebery, an unincorporated community about 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of New Denver. Rosebery (often mis-spelt Roseberry) is a former steamboat landing and ferry terminal on the eastern shore of Slocan Lake.
