What a glorious spring morning! We were up and at 'em at an early hour and I think we were the first ones on this part of the trail this morning. Bunnies were leaping across the trail, the blue birds were singing, and tohees were.. tohee-ing BUT I SAW A HAWK. Like so cool- bird of prey and it looked so close. I didn't want Cuban Shamrock to scare it away, so I told her to hang back and she rolled her eyes and said, "No, Lady Coot- It's 2D- like a statue, not moving... like you.... on this trail!!" I said, "thanks for the shade- it is sunny out here today."
Better schedule that optometry appointment soon....
