This was the site of the Ste Anne Motocross. It was a popular race stop in the 1990s. They had one of the largest jumps in Manitoba at the time and only a few of the guys on this MB circuit could make the jump.
As we drove out to this spot my husband told me the story that once in the 90s he came to watch a race here and while he was waiting in line to get in, his truck started smoking. This of course only made the wait feel longer. Turns out a hose came off and got stuck in the fan and was a quick repair.
All that to explain why we chose the cache we did.
