This is a series of caches placed around 12 Oaks mall.
12 Oaks opened in 1977, and is one of the few malls in the area to survive well into the 21st century. It even had a major expandsion in 2007 by adding a whole new wing and a 5th anchor store (Nordstroms). Alas, things have taken a bit of a downturn in the last few years with Lord & Taylor and Sears both closing. But 12 Oaks still battles on, with over 150 stores inside.
Looking at the mall from above, it resembles a wagon wheel, with the mall being the hub, and the outer road being the felloe. The parking lot and the landscaping make up the spokes that connect everything togther.
It is still a very busy places at times, especially between Thanksgiving and Christmas. So use caution and watch out for cars.
