The Enola Low Grade Trail is open DAWN to DUSK only.
This tree-bush has had a hard life. Growing in rocks is difficult. The rocks look like leftover track ballast designed to support trains. But the bush has overcome its hard life and is now hiding a film canister with a log paper for you to sign. Please make sure it is secure and covered before you leave for the next cache.
This cache is fairly close to the Colemanville Church Road parking. It is stroller-friendly from there.
This portion of the Enola Low Grade Trail is less scenic than the parts along the Susquehanna River It follows an abandoned right of way of the Enola Low Grade Railroad, one of several branch lines of the Pennsylvania Railroad.
The first LOST on the ELGT geocaches along this trail were created in 2013 by members of L.O.S.T. (Lancaster Organization for Seeking Tupperware). The caches are distinct hides hidden with many maintained by individuals. They are not interchangeable hides and containers.
