This day represents the first day of my permanent vacation. As I will be officially retired, I am able to wander even further than normal. So, I'm hosting an event here and there.
This event is partially in rememberance of D-Day. This day marks the day allied forces landed in Normandy. This invasion was key in defeating the german forces during World War 2. We will mark this with a gathering at the veterans memorial in McKuen Park. Please feel free to join me.
