Let's celebrate the placement of the Original Stash.

25 years ago Dave Ulmer placed a 5 gallon bucket the day after the Blue Switch was flipped, and created the first Geocache, in Oregon. It was the Original Stash, and the game was on. Who could imagine what would follow. 25 years and millions of caches and millions of cachers, here we are. And aren't we grateful for our little game that gets us outside searching, keeps us on the internet solving the next puzzle, and gives us new challenges to conquer. It's our passion. We are taken to places most of which we would never have visited otherwise. Think of the views, the history, the geology, the events and CITOs, the art and the creativity we've all experienced. And most of all, the friends  we've made. Oh, and the exercise. And to all you who followed Dave's lead? Thank you for contributing your knowledge and experiences for others to share. It's all of us. We keep it going. And we can be proud! 

Here's to 25 and 25 more.
