The Schaad family have been in the area for several generations and some family is still in the area. For me, the last Schaad to live on this land, now a park was a close family friend and like a grandmother to me and my sister. The original home has been replaced, but part of the property was turned into a nature park and childrens playground. What a great way to recognize the Schaad family. Enjoy the park, take a walk around the loop and if you Geocashe with young kids, spend some time at the playground.

I do not recommend parking on Corral Creek, it is best to enter from the Greens Neighborhood. If you enter on Corral Creek, it requires crawling under barbed wire. There is parking for this park in the neighborhood.
