Let’s CITO and earn our CITO Season I virtual souvenir!
Come join the city of Mandan’s 12th Annual Clean Up! They have asked for volunteers to pick up litter during the month of May.
We will start with an initial 1pm gathering in the parking lot near the warming house at Legion Park. I will give instructions, pass out trash bags, and gloves if needed. I will also pass out the free t-shirts that are given to new participants from Keep North Dakota Clean.
The shirt designed does not change from year to year, so repeat volunteers are asked to keep and wear a previous years' volunteer shirt (bright yellow or orange). If you are a New Volunteer, that does not have a Keep North Dakota t-shirt Please message me through the Geocaching message center your name and shirt size for yourself and anyone else in your group by April 27th, 2024, after loggin a WILL ATTEND. The city will be packing up the boxes for the cleaning groups the last full week of April. If you don’t message me your info by April 27th you are still welcome to join us, you just will not get t-shirt.
Volunteers are asked to wear long pants, appropriate closed-toe shoes, bring protective work/garden type gloves, and bug spray. If you have trash grabbers or pokers bring them as they are helpful. Since it is Star Wars Day, please feel free to wear any of your faviorte Star Wars items.
