"La Montaña de Taco" es un notorio monumento natural en dicha población el cual resulta ideal para pasear al perro, hacer una pequeña escapada en compañía para disfrutar de una ruta de senderismo breve o incluso aventurarte en solitario. Se trata de un antiguo cono volcánico el cual ha ido siendo modificado con el paso del tiempo al ser una diana perfecta para la extracción de picón. Lo cual tiene en descontento constante a muchos habitantes.
Sin embargo, no es un problema acceder hasta el "Vértice Geodésico", una señal que se encuentra en la cima desde la que es posible obtener una vista panorámica espectacular sin que haga falta tener que ir a lugares más apartados y en las alturas, como es costumbre. Desde ahí mismo es sencillo ver la capital, parte de la carretera que lleva hacia el sur de la isla, El Sobradillo y La Gallega, la TF-5 y claramente Taco. Vale la pena pasar por aquí. ¡Cuidado con acercarse a los bordes y luego al bajar por el sendero, ya que subir es lo fácil!

"La Montaña de Taco" is a notable natural monument in the town (Taco), ideal for walking the dog, taking a short hike with friends/family or even venturing alone. It's an old volcanic cone that has been modified over time because it's a perfect target for extracting volcanic rock. This has caused constant discontent among many residents.
However, it's not a problem to reach the "Vértice Geodésico" (Geodetic Vertex), a sign at the top from which you can get a spectacular panoramic view without having to go to more remote, higher places, as is customary. From there, it's easy to see the capital, part of the highway leading to the south of the island, El Sobradillo and La Gallega, the TF-5 road and, of course, Taco. It's worth stopping by here. Be careful when approaching the edges and then going down the path, as the climb is the easy part!
