Highland Lakes Boulders Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Outlaw: Stopped by yesterday and looked for this one and it is indeed gone. In addition, the entire area smells like urine. For these reasons, I decided to archive this cache. It is no longer a pleasant place to visit. Thanks to all who visited this site.

This information has been updated as of 8/9/04
Visitors to Burnet County have been dropping by this cache site for decades, to take pictures in the bluebonnets or to enjoy a picnic. Watch your step as you climb to the tip top... to see (or you might hear it first) a creek running behind these formations and a hill range on the horizon. The cache is a Dcon container hidden among boulders and Good luck and enjoy!

I always take a trash bag along with me...to pick up after all the people who choose not to pick up after themselves. Unfortunately, this is still necessary. Please CITO the area while there. A trash barrel is available at the site. Thanks.
