Boca townsite cache is a little stash within the remains of the old town of Boca, California. Easy to get to, and quite educational too. Nice view of the Truckee River Canyon, and close to the freeway. Elevation approximately 5616 ft.
You'll be searching for a standard ammo box, painted red with a sort of pine-needle pattern on it. Cache inventory includes: logbook, pencil, sharpener, small StarterLogg (for campfires), electronic alien game pen, a flashlight, a Valentine's Day Pez dispenser, Emmitt Smith football card, 2 toy paratroopers (my last paratroopers!), a CD of yiddish folk songs (fun at parties!), deck of playing cards, a Star Wars yo-yo, and one of my CDs, called "Sonograms". The area the stash is hidden in is educational and of historical importance, and is also littered with some artifiacts that should not be disturbed.
Please stay on the well-defined path until you are about 20 feet from the stash. You can drive to less that .1 of a mile from the cache. Walk lightly and have fun! Please log your visit here on geocaching.com so I can be sure the cache is ok. Also, I forgot to include a geocaching letter in the stash. If anybody has a spare one and visits, I'd sure appreciate you sticking one in there. Good luck and have fun!
