There is plenty to see and enjoy as you wander along one of the many trails in the Scout Island area. Waterfowl, eagles, and song birds are abundant during the warmer months. Otters, beavers, and muskrats can also be spotted, as can the occasional deer. Plenty of benches are located along the trail system where one can sit to take it all in.
