Town name: Fenmore

Town history: Fenmore has never been more than a paper town. What is a paper town? It is a location that was platted and planned to become a town that never took off. Fenmore was founded well after the timber was cut, so it was originally planned to be a agricultural center. A post office opened up in 1899, but ony lasted five years, closing in 1904. Fenmore does not even survive as a hamlet, even though signs point to its location from M-57. Fenmore is nothing more than a dot on the map.
