Geocache Description:

Its hard to imagine that at one point, the only way to get to Melbourne (or Canberra etc) was to drive through the main street of Camden! Alarmingly enough, I can actually recall going via that route as a youngster in the back of my parents car without a seatbelt and a chain smoking father in the front driving! Oh how things change!

The Camden Bypass, which also allowed for a non flood affected route south, was completed in July 1974. I still tend to call the expansive bridge, the sagging bridge, as it does tend to have a bit of a dip over the length of its span.

But I can tell you that you cannot access this hide from the bypass itself, so dont even think about it!

The hide is a camoed bison, so please BYOP.

A web stick may well come in  handy!

Side Note. If you attended the Australia Day Block Party and attended my cache making chat, you would have seen this cache!
