Geocaching has turned 25!!!!
On May 3rd, 2025 geocaching celebrated its 25th birthday. As a result this geoart was launched to commemorate this very important milestone.
You can expect an easy geoart on backroads of Boiling Spring Lakes, NC, but when its raining 4 WD is almost neccesary. No, the roads aren’t nearly as bad as Holly Shelter but they can get there. Some property out here will be developed over the next few years and if someone doesn’t want it near there new property, or home, then feel free to do a “ Needs Owner Maintenance “ log and I will either move it or archive depending on if there is space. This area is sometimes patrolled by cops because trust me they take dumping very seriously, so if they ask what you are doing just explain geocaching. The vast majority of containers are small tupperware. These roads are open all year but don’t look too suspicious! I strongly do not advise night caching out here. Good luck!
