GeoWoodstock, Geocaching's premiere event series is celebrating 21 years with a GIGA-sized gathering. From humble beginnings along the banks of the Ohio River to the mountaintop peaks of West Virginia, GeoWoodstock has a long line of history in some of the most iconic cities across the country. Join me for a time machine rewind as we explore all the events that have come before.
This is a simple play-anywhere Wherigo that will ask you a series of trivia questions about the previous GeoWoodstock events. Answer all five questions correctly to gain access to the final container, which is hidden at Mylan Park. Please replace everything exactly as you found it and be respective of the general area. The cache is easily accessible via the walking trail - please do not park at the nearby businesses. Thanks.
What is a Wherigo?
A Wherigo geocache combines GPS navigation with interactive storytelling or puzzles, requiring a compatible device (smartphone or GPS unit) and a Wherigo cartridge downloaded from the Wherigo website. Using a Wherigo app (e.g., WhereYouGo for Android or Wherigo® for iOS), players follow the cartridge’s instructions to navigate zones, solve tasks or puzzles, and ultimately locate the physical geocache. These experiences can range from adventures and guided tours to complex puzzles, offering an engaging and often educational geocaching journey.
