Dawn to Dusk ONLY!
This is a multi-stage cache (4 projections) to learn/practice how to use an accessory app to project waypoints using distance and compass bearing.
The GPS I used was set to True north for all readings! I have no idea if this has any affect on the results.
You will need a 3rd party app that lets you calculate coordinates based on bearing and distance.
If you are new to geocaching, you may want to attend a local Event where you can meet experienced cachers and get recomendations on apps and help on how to use them. You can also contact me.
Calculating the new coordinate
I've outlined some generic steps that need to be taken.
• Go the the initial coordinates and stand with your rear end resting centered on the back edge of the bench.

• Enter your starting location. The app you are using should show your present GPS coordinates standing behind the bench. You may have a button in the app that automatically enters the location into a location window, or you may have to manually enter them. Your reading should be: N40° 10.164' & W76° 37.982'
• Enter the projection numbers for Distance (37') and Bearing (270°).
• There may be a button that needs to be pressed, or the destination coordinates may appear automatically somewhere on the screen. You should get N40° 10.164' & W76° 37.990'
• Head back to the Geocaching app
Enter your information into the Geocaching app.
• Click on Waypoints.

Tap the + sign

You will see the following screen.

Enter the correct coordinates you projected. You can give the waypoint a custom name, or accept the default one, then tap Add.

Click on the arrow to get a pin to your projection point.

Head there and look for the metal tag with the next set of numbers.

Repeat the sequense until you find the cache. Three more projections to go!
