Geocache Description:

Who's buried in Grants Tomb??

The answer is "Nobody".

It's an oldie but a goodie!!!!!

You are standing in front the tomb of Ulysses S. Grants. President of the United States, from 1869 to 1877

Open year round 9am-5pm except January 1, Thanksgiving Day and December 25. Talks are given between 10am- 4pm. If you can I highly recommend you take the time to hear what the rangers have to say and take a look at the exhibits. The official NPS site is can be located here.

To verify this find please find and email this information.

Outside the tomb on the south side there are 2 (two) flagpoles. Send me the names of the people these poles are placed in memoriam for. In the subject line type "Grants Cache Info". Email to Remove the NOSPAM part to send. Please do not post the answer here even if encrypted. Any logs listed that do not send the required information will be deleted
