Geocache Description:

Estimated time to complete: 20min
Estimated distance to travel: 200m

"Tele" + "Vision" = looking from a distance

A pole camera can be used to look from a distance at anything from shipping containers to nest boxes. A simple pole camera can be made by attaching a selfie stick to a fishing pole, with your phone recording video as it is raised to hard-to-reach areas.

(Rebel Acts top tip: use FaceTime to link the pole phone with another on the ground to get real-time images. Screenshot as needed)

At the listed coordinates you will find a 5m light pole. You will need a pole camera to view the UPPER surface of the plastic light head and count the following:

A = number of parallel grooves
B = number of dots surrounding and within an engraved circle
C = number of attaching bolts connecting the light head to the metal arm
D = number of plastic wells surrounding the attaching bolts

Checksum = 22

Note 1: If the area is too busy, you will find equivalent light poles along the path heading west to Springvale Rd.

Note 2: Confirming that a drone can also be used to obtain the required numbers.

Enter the number ABCD into the online checker below to obtain the final coordinates and hint for GZ.
