Dog Buggy Ride in Smith Creek West Woods Traditional Cache

This geocache is one of several nicely located geocaches in Smith Creek Park. It is a well-camouflaged small 16 oz plastic jar containing a logsheet, a pen, some nice swag. Smith Creek Park is one of New Hanover’s favorite county parks where you will find many people walking their dogs and sometimes even see a Shih Tzu family being given a ride in a dog stroller! (Note: The Dog Stroller (TB5EBNZ) is a trackable)

Smith Creek Park is a popular  park with a small lake for kayaking and fishing. It has other facilities including bathrooms, play ground and about four miles of trails suitable for walking, running and strollers with lots of friendly dogs and people. The name of this geocache was given because it is a great location to give your dogs buggy rides and is located in the woods on the west side of Smith Creek Park. There is a narrow path (close to the "Dog Buggy Ride on Smith Trail SW Trail" Geocache) part of the way but some minor bushwacking may be needed as you get closer.
