Pant Glas Railway Station originally opened on the Caernarvonshire Railway, with services running between Caernarfon and Afon Wen. The station was closed in 1957 due to low passenger use, and the rest of the line closed seven years later, in 1964. The trackbed now forms part of the Lôn Las Eifion cycle route.
