You are standing on ground which used to house the old Benderloch Railway Station. This cycle/walking track used to be a railway line, which was in use from 1903-1966 and linked Connel Ferry with Ballachulish. The track was tarmacked in 2011 and is used by walkers, runners and cyclists daily.
