Parking is at the posted coordinates, in the lot at the Apopka-Vineland Outpost.
Getting a local opportunity in the Greater Orlando area to get the CITO 2025 Season 1 souvenir. To that end, we'll be doing trash pickup along the West Orange Trail and sidewalks near some nearby roads. Depending on turnout, we'll have multiple sections we clean up:
- Following the WOT immediately west, we'll take a short connector trail down to Clarcona Ocoee Road, take the sidewalk east to the intersection with Apopka-Vineland Road, then take the sidewalk along A-V Rd. north back to parking lot
- Following the WOT branch immediately north towards Clarcona Horse Park
- Following the main WOT trail where it jogs due east before continuing north
I will provide trash bags & water bottles, and have a few extra pairs of gloves available first come, first serve. I do not have any trash pickers, so please BYO if you want to utilize one. Safety vests are encouraged for those who want to get trash closer to the road- for those without a vest, we will keep to the trail proper.
