Description: This Cache is placed as part of the 2025 Taconic Region Geocaching Challenge. The NYS Parks Saratoga-Capital Region and the Central Region will be hosting a similar challenge. Find 45 challenge caches in the Taconic Region and stamp your passport to earn a trackable geo-coin. Ten caches found in the Sara-Cap and/or Central Region Challenge can be used toward the Taconic Challenge. This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to mark your passport. This stamp is NOT a trade item.

Parking note: EAST SIDE: Due to construction, the parking area on the east side of the Walkway is closed through January 2026. Parking is available at Pulaski Park, 170 Washington Street, Poughkeepsie. You might also find a few spaces on Orchard Place (near the bend), but be mindful of the No Parking signs as the City is issuing parking tickets to illegally parked cars.
WEST SIDE: As of January 1, 2025 you must pay if you park on the street OR if you park in the lot by the caboose. This is not NYS Parking, but administered by the town. It appears that handicapped parking spaces in this lot are free.
