Join us in The Harriet centre at York Cemetery for an exclusive screening of the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) 2025.
We’ll be rolling out the film reel where the dearly departed may be listening in. So cosy up among fellow geocachers for an unforgettable evening of short films and maybe a few chills (from the ghosts or the AC).
Refreshments, pop-corn, ice cream and other generally unhealthy things will be provided, plus you'll earn the official GIFF 2025 souvenir too by attending.
This is an indoor seated event, Tickets will be limited and space is tight. So book your tickets today and log your “Will Attend” to claim your seat(s) and avoid disappointment.
Friday night film schedule:*
⏳ 18:00 – The gates creak open, park up, meet & greet in the Harriet centre.
🎥 19:00 – Gates closed, lights out and it’s time to take your seats for the main event The GIFF 2025 world premiere.
🗳️ 20:00 – Your chance to vote for your favourite short film of the evening.
🎬 20:30 – CUT! It’s a wrap!  Group photo (ghostly photo bombers not guaranteed, but not ruled out).

Important Notes:
There will be a small charge of ÂŁ5 per ticket payable (kids ÂŁ3) upon entry, this will cover the hire of the venue and related costs.(no entry without a valid ticket)
There will be limited parking on site, please arrive in good time to park up if driving here as once the gates are locked they are LOCKED!
The caches within the cemetery will not be available to find on the evening for safety reasons, these will be disabled and removed beforehand and should not be attempted under any circumstance.
Please limit trackable drop offs to small trackables only, if it can’t fit in a slender ammo can then please don’t leave it.
