Years ago there was an Ammuntions factory located just down this road. The company made rifle and shotgun shells.Benny(R) remembers coming into Saskatoon from Big Z this way and seeing the plant when he was a teen and member of Hunter Safety in 4H. Gevelot is a French Company dating back to 1820.R remembers using Gevelot .22 caliber shells for 4H Target Shooting Competions.In trying to search the net for some History on the Saskatoon Plant the info was Very Scarce.About all that could be found was ammo was still being sold in the 1970's. It is kind of funny as really do not remember the company in the 70's around here. R has an "Old" box of 30-30 Rifle shells and it shows manufactured in Saskatoon on the box. Hope to post picture of the box.The back is very worn but this is the caption--
