About this series: This Cache is placed as part of the Summer 2025 Taconic Region Geocaching Challenge. Find 45 challenge caches in the Taconic Region and stamp your passport to earn a trackable geo-coin. The NYS Parks Saratoga-Capital Region and the Central Region will be hosting a similar challenge, and ten caches found in the Sara-Cap and/or Central Region Challenge can be used toward the Taconic Challenge. This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to mark your passport. This stamp is NOT a trade item.

About this cache: You can start your day here with a quick stamp as you head on down the road to the Main Park and historic Mansion. Enjoy your visit! Bring a pen for signing the log and an extraction tool might make things easier for you to grab it!
After grabbing this there are 2 loops to be done at Clermont this year. For the first we suggest parking near CL2 or CL4 and hiking a loop around the park. For the second, park near CL East Bonus 1 and hiking the western bridle trail loop. Be sure to use care along the road!
