SURVIVOR STARS
It was inevitable that Geocachers like us would fall in love with the 48-season reality TV show Survivor. A key aspect of the game is finding hidden advantages in the forest or jungle. The six caches presented represent a tribute to stars of the show.
JEFF PROBST
Jeff Probst has been the guide and host of Survivor since its inception- year 2000- 48 seasons ago. Over 25 years he developed a very entertaining, popular, and effective persona, including many catch phrases and quips. His play-by-play style during the challenges has become a staple feature of the show, adding to the excitement as it occurs. To many fans’ dismay Jeff announced his intention to retire after Season 50.
