Welcome to the Canalway Classic Geocaching series! This collection of caches will take you North of the Canal Bend Trailhead. The Towpath Trail is crushed limestone and offers views of the Tuscarawas River with plenty of wildlife. The trail also runs parallel to the Ohio & Erie Canal for a majority of the caches. Parking and restrooms are available at the Canal Bend Trailhead (N 40 39.288 W 081 29.088). A trailside picnic table is located approximately 1.5 miles north of the trailhead.
The trail can occasionally be busy at times, so keep an eye out for other trail users.
These caches are located within fairly close proximity to the trail, and all containers are small to regular sized.
