Cache Access
Note that while the final cache location is accessible 24/7, the first stage of this multi is only accessible when the central bus station is open, estimated opening hours are (no official hours published):
- Sunday-Thursday: 6:00-24:00
- Friday: 6:00-17:00
- Saturday: 16:30-24:00
All stages of the multi-cache are wheelchair accessible.
About the Location
The Carmel Beach Central Bus Station, opened in 2003, replaced the now abandoned Bat Galim Central Bus Station (1974-2003) along with the Mifratz CBS on the other edge of the city (opened in 2002). The station sits right by the Mediteranean sea, and you can see an amazing sunset if you come at the right hour!
The station was built adjacent to the Carmel Beach Railway Station, and connects Haifa and the Carmel region to the center of the country. The pedestrian tunnel connecting to the train station has a wonderful exhibit about the history of public transit in Haifa. Visit the exhibit (posted coordinates), look at the different photos and answer the following questions to find the final location:
- CBS Paris Square: The number of windows on the Tel-Aviv – Jerusalem – Haifa express bus pictured = A
- Historical Bus Tickets: The bottom rightmost digit on the screen of the ticketing machine = B
- Plumer Square Central Station: The bus line number in top right photo, divided by 2 = C
- Bat Galim CBS: The second digit of the license plate number of the double decker bus = D
- Hamifratz CBS: The bus line number appearing on the MAN city bus = E

על המקום
מרכזית חוף הכרמל, שנפתחה בשנת 2003, החליפה את תחנה מרכזית בת גלים הנטושה, יחד עם מרכזית המפרץ (שנפתחה בשנת 2002). התחנה נבנתה צמוד לתחנת רכבת חיפה-חוף הכרמל, והיא משרתת את תושבי חיפה וחוף הכרמל ומביא קישוריות למרכז הארץ. במעבר הולכי הרגל בין התחנה המרכזית לבין תחנת הרכבת יש תערוכת תמונות המאיירת את ההיסטוריה של תחבורה ציבורית בחיפה. עליכם לבקר בתערוכה ולענות על השאלות הבאות כדי למצוא את המיקום הסופי של המטמון:
