TXGA’s CITO Across Texas - Houston
Bear Creek Settlers Park
Hey cachers – do you want to be part of something as big as the State of Texas that promotes geocaching and gives back to our local communities? Well, mark your calendars and sign up for one of the TXGA CITO Across Texas.
World Cleanup Day is held annually on the Third Saturday in September. Volunteers in 180 countries will take on the global trash problem and clean up waste, making it the biggest positive civic action the world has seen. TXGA has decided to throw our cowboy hats and GPS devices in the ring this year and join the efforts.
On Saturday, September 20th, at 9 a.m., geocachers, friends, and family will meet at CITO Events across Texas to pick up trash and help keep our game board clean. This is the location for the primary event; see the list below for other locations.
This event will be hosted at Houston's Bear Creek Settlers' Park. txgo4fan, Buddy598, and georeyna will be your hosts.
We aim to make this the biggest CITO event in Geocaching history - help us achieve that goal!
