Geocache Description:

A Totem Pole is traditionally a pillar erected by Indian tribes of the northwest coast of North America which has been carved and painted with a series of  symbols representing family lineage and mythical or historical incidents.

This totem pole may therefore not be quite what you were expecting but it still performs the same functions and the lineage is Canadian. I'm confident you will be able to work out what each of the symbols represents.

The cache is a small magnetically connected box.
