The cache is not located at the posted coordinates. This is a bonus cache for completing the Adventure Lab “Bartlesville Historic Church Architecture.”
Bartlesville history includes churches of all denominations and architectural designs. The tour includes five of Bartlesville’s first churches. The picture above is the original First Presbyterian Church, and the posted location was the site of the First Church of God, which was also one of Bartlesville's first churches.
As you complete each stage of the AL, you will receive clues to determine the correct coordinates and gain some additional hints. The AL can be completed as a driving tour without leaving your car, or you can do part of it as a walking tour that is about 1.5 miles round trip. The bonus cache is within ½ mile of one of the churches. Parking is available within ¼ mile of the cache location.
The difficulty and terrain rating are based on the effort to complete the AL if you do it as a driving tour and then find the bonus cache.
