You've just tracked down West Virginia’s vibrant state bird — the Northern Cardinal! 🐦 This bold red beauty isn't just perched here by chance. This cache is a special feature of GeoWoodstock XXI and was handcrafted by  WVTim, one of our home grown boys!

But wait — this cardinal is hiding something.

To access the logbook, you'll need to assist the West Virginia Audubon Society in a very important mission. They've tasked you with confirming your sighting by signing the log — but there's a twist. 🧠🔒

🕵️‍♂️ The Challenge:

The log is locked, and only one person has the combination:
The President of the Local Bird Watching Club.

Luckily, we have a short story that will help you identify the president. But there's a catch: the club’s members look suspiciously like characters from the classic Guess Who? game. 👀

Your job? Read the story, study the suspects, and identify the one person who fits all the clues. Enter their corresponding number into the lock to reveal the log.

📝 The Story:

To lead the club, you must be a dedicated birder — and our president fits the bill. They have keen eyesight, even if they occasionally rely on binoculars. They never miss a bird in flight — especially since they don’t wear a hat to block their view. And perhaps most importantly, he bringings  years of experience to the job — wisdom earned from countless hours in the field.

Only one character matches all of those details.
