This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website.
USJ 7 LRT & BRT Station
USJ7 Station (KJ31) is an interchange rail-bus station situated within one of several robust areas of Subang Jaya. The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) part of the station began operations on 2 June 2015, while the rail opened a year later on 30 June 2016 as part of the extension phase for the LRT Kelana Jaya Line system. The station thus serves to connect nearby suburbs to the broader Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.
To the west of the station, a couple of residential houses from USJ 6 are located. Meanwhile, the east and north are where the bustling business districts and malls are seen. Previously, a pedestrian bridge was available as a link from the station to the malls up north, but was unfortunately torn down to make way for the redirecting of the large intersection nearby. As an alternative, a zebra crossing was put in place of the former bridgeway.
The station is also a stop for three bus routes, namely SJ01, 770 (Subang Mewah-Pasar Seni) and T776 (USJ7-Subang Mewah).
About the Cache
There are limited parking spots available here, so public transport (especially LRT & BRT) is recommended to reach here. The parking area east (near the gas station) has a RM5 fee. DO NOT park inside USJ 6 (located at the left side of the cache), as it is private property. If you are using public transport, as soon as you tap out of the fare gates, turn right and go for the 'Exit to Subang Perdana/Goodyear Court' exit.
To grab the cache, timing is of most importance. The road nearby can be full of vehicles passing by, ESPECIALLY during peak hours as the area is notorious for its traffic congestion. Practice total stealth so as to not arouse any suspicion. Also, don't try to pry open any doors, it's not hiding inside anything.
The cache is about 12cm at length and 7cm at width, and is magnetic. BYOP.
