Cache #213
Stop Revive Survive is a road safety initiative to help lower the fatalities on our roads. Fatigue is one of the main causes of crashes in rural areas.
The best way to avoid driving tired, is to make sure that you have had adequate sleep before driving and stop every 2 hours.
Don't wait for a micro sleep, by then its too late.
Only accessed from the NORTHBOUND lanes - save this one for a trip to Sydney.
This is an older style rest area on the Hume Highway - there is a toilet (use at your own risk), picnic table, rubbish bins and plenty of space to pull over for a kip. And now there is a cache - a typical hide for a quick park and grab.
This can be a busy spot so stealth will be required. You will require your own writing implement here. As in other caches in the bush, snakes may be an issue in summer.
Enjoy!
