Overhang Odyssey II
Join us for this event in Narrabeen for another exciting day of caching in a wonderful part of Sydney. This event will take part in a very tall overhung sandstone cave / cliff. It is near a great lead climbing area so if anyone is up for the challenge and has the equipment, have at it. Also, dont worry about rocks falling on your head, but if you do, bring a helmet!
Today we are at Elanora Heights, a wonderful sport climbing area that many consider to be the best in Sydney. It was once described as "Bulletproof sandstone with some of the most amazing climbing in Sydney"
I hope to see you there!
When: 28th June, 10AM
Where: At the posted coordinates, Elanora Heights Climbing.
What: A quick catch up and starting point for a great day of caching.
Why: A bunch of us may go caching after the event and anyone is welcome to join us.
How: Read the waypoints. Park on the resident side of the road for the parking waypoint. Walk down the grassy hill to the start of the trail, walk down it and climb down a series of ladders and through some caves. Continue along the trail until you're under the very big cliff, walk further until you see us!
